The name of the federation is ‘Burghfield Common Federation of Mrs Bland’s Infant and Nursery School and Garland Junior School’ (the “Burghfield Common Federation”).

The name of the governing board is ‘The governing board of the Burghfield Common Federation of Mrs Bland’s lnfant and Nursery School and Garland Junior School’.
The governing board shall consist of: a) two parent governors; b) one Local Authority governor; c) one staff governor; d) one Executive Head Teacher; and e) twelve co-opted governors (to include one member of staff from one of the schools not represented as a staff governor).
The total number of govenors shall be 17.
This instrument of government comes into effect at 19.00 on Wednesday 18th October 2023.
This instrument was made by order of West Berkshire District Council on 11 October 2023
A copy of the instrument must be supplied to every member of the governing board (and the head teacher if not appointed as a governor).
